Designed primarily for sport skydiving, the Galaxy features:

• screw on lens that can be replaced by its owner

• large 2" dial face with several face display options including glow, metric, and custom

• increased size and number thickness for ease of reading

• engraved serial number

• 1" thick robust aluminum casing available in a variety of colors

• sturdy hand mount

The galaxy has an altitude range of 18,000 feet MSL, marked in 250 foot increments. The face of the galaxy is highlighted with a yellow caution and red warning arc that starts at 3,000 feet. The galaxy contains a durable mechanism made from temperature compensating metals for minimal friction and precision accuracy.

How it works:

• Create your dial face: you can use a software package or draw it by hand and scan it. Templates are at the bottom of this page for download.
   

• We accept tiff, gif, jpeg, or Photoshop files. (Contact us)
   

• We will let you know when your custom faceplate is ready, then send us your Altimaster.
   

• We will exchange the faceplate and ship it back to you.
   

• How much does it cost??? - it's free!! You just pay $12.00 for shipping and handling within the continental United States (contact us for international shipping fees).

(If you want to save the shipping cost, talk to your dealer. With their agreement, we can ship your custom unit to them with their next order).

The fine print:

You must send us an Altimaster III (aluminum cases only) or Altimaster II that is working and in good condition (we will check, if it is in need of repair then we will contact you).

We reserve the right to refuse to use any artwork if we consider it to be dangerously misleading to a user, you will need to send us a release of liability.

If you want us to do anything other than use your artwork in the condition you send it, please contact us. We can provide art services at additional cost.

This is our way of saying "thank you" to Altimaster owners, so it is limited to personalized dial faces for your own use. if you want multiple copies of the same design, e.g. for schools, dealers, or DZ's, please contact us for a quote.

We are pleased to announce the Altimaster Galaxy Extreme, for pond swoopers who don't want to use an Altimaster Neptune. This model is based on the Galaxy but has been modified to be waterproof.The Extreme is available in black.Choose any face option: glow, traditional white, metric, or a custom design!

Note that the Extreme lens is not user replaceable.
